Do I need to book in advance, or can I walk in?
We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, especially during peak times. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Are there age restrictions?
Yes, under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. After 9 pm, the venue is for adults only (times may vary).
Can I bring food or drinks?
Outside drinks are not allowed, but bringing food is allowed at our discretion. We recommend contacting us in advance if you’re planning to bring food to the venue.
Is private venue hire available?
Yes, we offer private venue hire for special events, but it’s only available through direct contact. To learn more or to book, please reach out to us via email or social media. Private hire cannot be arranged through Design My Night.
How customisable are private events?
Events are customisable within reason. Decorations, catering, and jukebox free play (for a fee) can be arranged. Contact us for more details.
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
We follow the policies listed on “Design My Night.” Check there for details.
Is there parking available near the venue?
Yes, the nearest car park is St Georges Road Car Park, Newquay TR7 1TD. There’s plenty of parking around town.
How easy is it to reach Cave via public transport?
The bus station is less than a 5-minute walk, and a taxi rank is just 2 minutes away.
Do you cater to goups/parties?
Yes, including work events, stag and hen dos, and kids’ parties (ages 10+ with adults for under-16s).

What drinks does Cave have?
We have a fully licensed bar offering beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, cocktails, and mocktails.
Do you show live sports?
We don’t have Sky Sports but will show events on terrestrial TV.
What does the shuffleboard powder contain?
We use and recycle silicone sand to ensure smooth gameplay on the shuffleboard table.
Do you take cash payments for anything?
Yes, we accept cash onsite, as well as online bookings and BACS transfers.
Do you have CCTV in the venue?
Yes, CCTV is in operation throughout the venue.
Are there additional costs for equipment or add-ons?
No, all equipment is included with your booking. For the golf simulator, we provide brand new TaylorMade QI 10 clubs for both right- and left-handed players.
Do you provide any tutorials or help for beginners?
Yes, our staff will guide you through setting up and playing each activity. They’ll also explain rules and game modes. Staff for golf remain on-hand throughout your session.
Are there limits on group size per activity?
We provide guides for recommended group sizes per activity. Check individual pages or contact us to accommodate your group.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at Cave, but they must be kept on a lead at all times.
