Challenge Complete: Adam Takes On a Football Legend
Premier League legend Matt le Tissier dropped into Cave Activity Bar for an unforgettable afternoon of competition, banter, and top-tier sporting spirit, and our lucky prize draw winner, Adam Pryor, was ready to take him on!
Following an electric charity evening at Oceanside Newquay in support of the #WalkingIsBrilliant mental health campaign, Matt joined us here at Cave to honour the grand prize: a one-on-one challenge across our most popular games. Interactive darts, golf, shuffleboard. Adam stepped up, and the legend didn’t disappoint.
The Winner Is…
After the big night, the wheel was spun and Adam Pryor was selected as the lucky challenger. He returned to Cave the next day to go head-to-head with Matt in a friendly but fierce showdown filled with laughs, selfies, and a fair bit of competitive spirit.
From the moment he walked through the door, Matt brought warmth, humour and true sporting energy. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon – and neither could our guests.
About the Event
This event was part of a larger evening hosted by Cornwall Media Group and Oceanside Newquay, raising money for the incredible #WalkingIsBrilliant initiative – a mental health campaign led by ex-pro footballers, supporting life after sport and encouraging conversation through walking and shared stories.
