Fresh looks, new games and more indoor activities in Newquay
Cave has levelled up for the colder months. We have a new sign outside above the entrance, new games and activites on the floor, and more flexibility for walk-ins. If you are planning a night out in Newquay, a rainy day plan, or pre-games before New Year’s Eve, here is what is new.
New logo and sign outside the entrance
Our exterior now matches the energy inside. The updated sign features the new Cave logo with a dartboard and three darts above, plus “Activity Bar” to make it crystal clear what we are about. It is brighter, bolder and easier to spot from across the street.
Twin racing simulators from Race@Home
We have added two Race@Home Low Slider simulators, placed side by side for proper head-to-head racing. Expect a low seating position, responsive controls and a serious arcade feel.

Metallica pinball has arrived
Our pinball line-up just got louder. Metallica Remastered is now on the floor, joining Jaws and Foo Fighters, plus the new Harry Potter machine. That gives Cave two band-themed and two movie-themed machines in one venue.

New Year’s Eve: book pre-games now
New Year’s Eve slots are booking up fast. Cave is ideal for pre-games before you head out to ring in the new year. We plan to close around 11 pm so the team can celebrate too. Book your pre-games early to avoid missing out.

Opening times: preview of seasonal changes
Weekends will continue as normal. We expect to trial 11 am opening with midnight close during busy periods such as school holidays and weekends. Weekday hours may vary in winter. Please check our booking page or Google listing for the latest times.
Golf and racing upstairs: walk-ins coming soon
Our golf simulator and racing area upstairs has been bookings only in the past. With the new twin rigs, we are preparing to welcome walk-ins and last-minute bookings there too. Check the booking page for live availability before you set off.
